My week capturing Bobaflex’s Walking Shadow Mini Tour started at Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, IN.
I’ve captured bands in MANY different studios but going to Sweetwater Studios was surreal. All the best equipment, amazing employees, amazing lunch and not to mention a lot to just look at and take in. I also got to hear some pretty bad ass music stories from the past from a few of the techs here.

Nothing beats covering nights like these for bands but I really dig the variety touring with artists offers. I love that it’s not just live shows, its VIP sessions, tour bus hangs, exploring cities, exclusive interviews and more. Being a very versatile shooter is super important in doing this kind of work. You literally have to be ready for anything. Having the right gear is also necessary but if you aren’t versatile, the extra gear won’t be too much help.
